Our driver/guide will pick you up from your Fez hotel or riad at around 8:00 am and take you to the departure pick-up point. After that, we begin our 3-day desert tour from Fes to Merzouga, heading toward the middle Atlas Mountains. You will spend the majority of the day touring through stunning cedar forests, craggy rock formations, and Berber villages as you descend toward Morocco’s Sahara desert after crossing the Atlas Mountains. Lunch will be served to you on the road. We are going to make a stop in Midelt, which is renowned for its rocks and fossils. We drive along mountain roads with views of the expansive Ziz valley as we continue our three-day journey through the Fes desert. We will traverse vast palm groves and Kasbahs before arriving at the adobe-colored city of Errachidia. In the late afternoon, we will reach Merzouga, a city on the outskirts of the Sahara desert. You will have free time in the Merzouga desert, touring the village on a walking tour, meet locals, Also, you can do a Merzouga desert activity: ATV Quad & Buggy Adventure. Then we will overnight in the Hotel/Riad.

We’re going to embark on a Merzouga Sahara desert expedition today after breakfast. We’re going to investigate the most fascinating desert environment. First, we will go to see the Nomads, who continue to lead a modest life while living in tents and caring for sheep, goats, and camels. We’ll hang out with them for a while and learn about their way of life. After that, we’re heading to Mifiss’s plumb mine. In addition, we will visit Khamlia, a tiny village located roughly 5 kilometers from Merzouga, as part of the 4WD Morocco Sahara tour.
