About eight in the morning You will be picked up from your Casablanca hotel by our driver/guide. Next, depart Casablanca for Marrakech to begin our 5-day desert excursion through Morocco. We will travel to Rabat in the morning and stop at the city’s landmarks, the “Hassan II Tower” and the Mosuleuom of “Mohamed 5”.

Our 5-day tour of Morocco continues to Fes following an optional lunch at a local eatery. We will enjoy strolling through the narrow streets and alleys of Morocco’s oldest city. The Royal Palace gate, visits to the Jewish quarter, and other historical and cultural sites like Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum are all included in our sightseeing day tour. Spend the night in a riad on the outskirts of the medina.

Following breakfast, you will embark on a guided day tour of Fez, the cultural capital and one of the world’s most complete medieval Islamic cities. Passing through Bab Ftouh, explore the Andalusian neighborhood and take in the mosque’s exterior. Navigate through the communities of copper, dye, and tanning workers to reach Seffarine. Next, to the oldest mosque in Africa, located at the University of Al-Karaouine. Stop in front of Idris I’s mausoleum, the man who founded Fes. Explore Nejjarine and take in the sight of its well-known fountain. Lastly, take some time to explore the stunning Nejjarine Museum of Wood Arts and Crafts.

Proceed with your exploration of the medina in the afternoon, pausing in front of Fes’ “blue gate,” Bab Boujouloud. You are welcome to visit the Attarine Medersa if you choose. Take a tour of the city walls and stop at borj Norj for a breathtaking view of the medina. Explore the exterior of the Royal Palace as well as the historic Jewish neighborhood. The pottery district comes next. After that, make a stop at an artisanal complex on the outskirts of the city before concluding the tour and going back to your riad.

We will travel through the middle Atlas Mountains today from Fes to the Sahara desert. We will begin our journey in “Ifrane city,” also referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” There, you can take in the breathtaking views and the city’s forest. A stop at “Azrou” will be made later to observe the monkeys in the cedar forest (Barbary Macaque). On the way, we’ll have time to snap photos with the monkeys. Then, while taking in the views of the Ziz gorges, we will travel toward the Sahara desert and pass through “Tizi n’Talghamt” to reach “Errachidia” city. Additionally, we will have free time to capture special moments and photos in the expansive “Ziz valley” vistas. We continue our journey from Casablanca to Merzouga via Tafilalte Oasis “Aoufous” & “Erfoud” (known for its fossils, museums, and dates) to Merzouga Erg Chebbi. We’re going to visit a nearby fossil craft studio.

We will arrive in the Sahara desert three hours before sunset. Where you will relish an experience of a lifetime. We begin by riding camels into the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi to get to our luxurious camp in the Merzouga Sahara desert. The camel ride adventure lasts for about two hours, with a break at the top of the dune to take in the breathtaking sunset views, try sandboarding (optional), and snap some special photos.

After that, you’ll proceed to the camp, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of mint tea and allowed to unwind until suppertime. Following dinner, you can enjoy listening to traditional Berber drumming music, taking in the starry sky, shooting stars, campfires, and exchanging stories and cultures with nomadic people. Next, take a nap in your own desert tent like a nomad.

You’ll rise early today to witness a magnificent sunrise and go dune-bashing. Afterwards, you can choose to return to the Merzouga villages by 4WD Sahara desert safari or by camel trekking. Next Our 5-day desert excursion from Casablanca continues to Dades Valley via Rissani, where you’ll make a brief stop to explore “the traditional souk, which is regarded as the largest in the South of Morocco.”

Proceeds to the Todra Valley and Gorge after passing through numerous villages, including “Jorf” and “Tinjdad.” Next, you’ll reach the Todra Gorge, a popular spot for rock climbers, which is situated at the base of the tall Atlas Mountains. We’re going to take a quick stroll through the tall canyons. Our 5-day trip to Morocco will begin in the afternoon with a trip to Boumalne Dade’s, where we will spend the third night. Many Hollywood films, such as “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” “Prince of Persia,” and many more, were filmed against this backdrop. The exotic architecture and cultures of Morocco are reflected in the kasbahs, or fortresses.

Following our exploration of the kasbah, we will travel a little further through the “Tichka pass” in the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech, the end of our 5-day trip through the Sahara Desert in Morocco.
