Casablanca to Sahara desert tour 9 Days

Depending on the time of your flight, our driver/guide will accompany you from Casablanca Airport. We set out on a nine-day trip to Morocco from Casablanca. We’re going to El Jadida, which is a port city on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. For two centuries, the old fortification was under Portuguese colonial rule. was designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It combines elements of Portuguese and Moroccan culture. We are going to this little seafront fortified city. stroll along its lengthy beach and through its small, peaceful citadel. We proceed on our journey to Essaouria, where we can establish initial communication with this small fishing community.

We will have time this morning to explore this stunning fishing. village situated atop a little rocky outcrop. It is a very quiet city that goes into the sea and has a great personality. where its beauty is not imperceptible. referred to as the Atlantic Pearl. Investigate the City of Winds or Beauty. Surfers love this area because of its long sandy beach and trade winds.

The medina, a peaceful place. Its well-organized street plan sets it apart from other medinas and gives it a distinct personality. Its primary industry is fishing. crafts and tourism, so we must not overlook the vibrant and energetic display of the boats making their way back to the port. as their gulls prowled in between the vessels.
taking a leisurely stroll and taking in the allure of its winding streets. There is a calm and serene ambiance in the Medina, with its white walls and blue painted doors. We’re going to Marrakech in the middle of the afternoon. Spend the night in a riad.

We will try our best to ensure that you don’t just visit tourist attractions but also get to see the real Medina. A guided tour of Marrakech will show you the city’s many historical sites, museums, palaces, and riads.

Explore the sights at Jemaa el-Fna, Morocco’s liveliest location and the representation of the historic Medina. This is Marrakech’s cultural square, where thousands of people congregate. Take pleasure in perusing its eateries and artisan stores. Enjoy yourself even more by marveling at the skill of the Gnaoua musicians and the snake charmers. After that, for even more entertainment, take in the works of gifted poets and artists, or delve into engrossing tales about the sultans of Marrakech. After a few hours of wandering around, unwind by taking in the views from the square’s cafes. Marvel at the vibrant souks of the Jemaa el-Fna for stunning photographs. One of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites is the square.

We’re going to head south of Morocco today, first toward Dades Valley. We will first traverse the “Tizi N’Tichka” Pass. And the High Atlas Mountains, where we will see magnificent Berber villages that have been blended into the surrounding scenery. After that, we’ll go on to Ait Ben Haddou. This castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that we will visit. Many Hollywood films, such as “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” “Prince of Persia,” and many more, were filmed against this backdrop. The exotic architecture and cultures of Morocco are reflected in the kasbahs, or fortresses. We will go a little farther to Ouarzazate after touring the kasbah. You can eat lunch at your leisure there. Following lunch, we’ll meander to the Skoura Oasis, renowned for its Kasbah of Amridil, another fascinating site.

From there, our nine-day Morocco desert excursion continues to Dades Valley via the “road of thousand kasbahs,” where we are treated to a breathtaking view of an expansive valley peppered with tiny oasis and hundreds of historic fortifications. Eventually, we arrive at the Roses Valley, whose town, Kalaat M’gouna, is best known for the annual “Roses Festival,” which is held there in May. We will travel to “Dades Valley” in the evening and spend the night in a riad with dinner and breakfast.

Private 9-day Tour of Morocco Departing from Casablanca Continues following a customary and delectable breakfast. After that, we’ll drive through the Dades Canyon, passing numerous picturesque Berber villages and old Kasbahs. As you travel through the last of the fortified villages that served as caravan routes up until the early 20th century, you will be treated to breathtaking scenery. We’re going to Todra, which is a stunning 15-kilometer valley dotted with palm trees. On a walking tour within the Todra gorges, take in the striking high walls of grey and pink rock surrounding the road.

We will then carry on with our road trip to Merzouga and the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes. You will then embark on a roughly one-and-a-half-hour camel ride excursion. to reach your camp in the Sahara desert. You will stop in the middle of the sand dunes to watch the sunset during the camel trek. And if you’re interested, give the sandboarding exercise a try. Enjoy the scenery and snap some photos. Your camel desert excursion continues to the camp after dusk, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of mint tea. Enjoy dinner, an overnight stay beneath a nomadic desert camp in the middle of Merzouga sand dunes, campfire, and Berber music at the camp.

You will see an incredible sunrise over Merzouga’s sand dunes today after an early weak-up. and a delectable breakfast in the camp in the Sahara. Your camel guide will then transport you back to the Merzouga village meeting place. To go to Fes city, Safari offers both 4WD jeep rides and camel rides, depending on your preference.

We leave for Fes and travel through the city of Errachidia. After stopping for a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley along the way, we will continue on our 9-day Morocco itinerary from Casablanca to Midelt. We continue our journey to Azrou after lunch in order to explore the magnificent cedar forest and the Barbary macaque. We will travel to Ifrane next, where we will spend a brief visit. After that, we travel on to Fez City, where we will stay in a riad for the night.

Take a guided day tour of Fez with a qualified driver and a local guide. Of course, to simply explore historical, cultural, and Islamic locations as well as visually appealing sites both inside and outside of Fez Medina.

 

 

We will head straight to Chefchaouen on the eighth day of our private nine-day tour of Morocco. En route, we will stop at the sites in Meknes and Volubilis. We’ll cease going to the ancient medina until we get to Chefchaouen. Because of its Spanish design, the square is really interesting to tourists. You will also notice a large selection of artisan stores, eateries with outdoor seating, and cafes where you can unwind and enjoy food. While relaxing in Chefchaouen, Spend the night in a riad in Chefchaouen, the Rif Mountains.

Following breakfast in the morning, we will begin our drive from Chefchaouen to Casablanca or Marrakech. Depending on when your flight departs the airport, you can choose to end your trip in Casablanca or Marrakech. We will stop at the “Oudaya Kasbah,” the “Hassan II Tower,” and the “Mohamed 5 Mosuleum” as we travel through Rabat. We will also visit the Hassan II Mosque. Afterward, we will transport you to the airport of your choice, where your nine-day Morocco travel itinerary comes to an end.
