We will pick you up from the port or hotel at 8:00 am. Our six-day journey from Tangier to Marrakech starts in the direction of Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains. We drive through beautiful landscapes, forests, fields and rivers to reach the charming town of Chefchaouen. We have enough time to discover the blue pearl and spend the night in a riad.

After a delicious breakfast in the riad, our six-day journey will take us from Tangier towards Volubilis through Ouazan and the other Rif communities. We will discover the Roman ruins in Volubilis and learn about the Moroccan history. We will then drive to Meknes, the city of the 17th century, where we will have lunch, discover the historic walls of the Medina, bab el Mansour, and visit Moulay Ismail Greenery. After lunch, we will drive to Fes, where you will spend the night.

During this full-day trip to Fes, you will explore the cultural and spiritual center of Morocco. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, also known as Fes el Bali, was built in the 9th century and is home to the oldest university in the world. Under the Merinids, in the 13th and 14th centuries, Fes reached its true economic and cultural peak when it replaced Marrakech as the capital of the kingdom. In 1912, the political capital of Morocco was moved to Rabat, but Fez remained the artistic center of the country.

The craft workshops of Medina are just as active today as they were 100 years ago and contribute significantly to the city’s industrial economy. Trades such as blacksmithing, leatherwork, ceramics, silk, tapestry and sculpture are still practiced in these workshops. This ancient city and its estimated 9,000 narrow passages and lively streets are still protected by the original walls.

After breakfast in your hotel or riad, the fourth day of our 6-day desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech gets underway. After that, take a drive to Morocco’s fascinating Sahara desert.

The middle Atlas Mountains will be traversed by us. We will begin our journey in “Ifrane city,” also referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” There, you can take in the breathtaking views and the city’s forest. A stop at “Azrou” will be made later to observe the monkeys in the cedar forest (Barbary Macaque). On the way, we’ll have time to snap photos with the monkeys.

We begin by riding camels into the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi to get to our opulent Merzouga Sahara camp. The camel ride adventure lasts for about two hours, with a break at the top of the dune to take in the breathtaking sunset views and go sandboarding (optional).

Savor the scenery and capture moments to remember. After that, you’ll proceed to the camp, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of mint tea and allowed to unwind until suppertime. Following dinner, you can enjoy listening to traditional Berber drumming music, taking in the starry sky, shooting stars, campfires, and exchanging stories and cultures with nomadic people. Next, take a nap in your own desert tent like a nomad.

You’ll get up early to witness the breathtaking dawn over the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the camp, breakfast and showers. After that, you can choose to travel to Merzouga Desert Village in a 4WD jeep or on the back of a camel. We will travel through Rissani on our way to Ouarzazate via the Morocco desert road, stopping there to explore the traditional market—which is thought to be the biggest in the South of Morocco. After that, we’ll go on to Alnif, Tazarine, and the Draa Valley, which has Amridil Kasbah and an amazing oasis with palm trees. Upon reaching Ouarzazate, Spend the night in a lovely riad.

 

 

On the final day of our six-day tour, which took us via Merzouga from Tangier to Marrakech. We are going to the well-known Kasbah of Taourirt. We will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, after traveling 27 km on the road. Many Hollywood films, such as “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” “Prince of Persia,” and many more, were filmed against this backdrop. The exotic architecture and cultures of Morocco are reflected in the kasbahs, or fortresses.
