Tangier to Marrakech desert tour 8 Days
Depending on the time of your flight, our driver/guide will pick you up at the Tangier Airport or Port and take you to the hotel. Time to spare to tour Tangier. Spend the night.
We’ll come get you at the hotel. Our nine-day Morocco itinerary begins in Tangier and travels via the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. To get to the quaint city of Chefchaouen, we will travel through some breathtaking scenery, including fields, forests, and rivers. There will be time to explore the blue pearl. Spend the night in a riad.
Our 9-day tour from Tangier continues towards Volubilis crossing via Ouazan and the other Rif villages after a delicious breakfast in the riad. We will explore the Roman ruins and gain knowledge of Moroccan history in Volubilis. After that, we’ll travel to Meknes City, a 17th-century historical site, where we’ll eat lunch, explore the ancient walls of the medina, see bab el Mansour, and take in a tour of Moulay Ismail Greenery. We travel to Fes city later in the afternoon, where you will stay the night.
With the help of your knowledgeable local guide, you will have a full day to explore and learn about Morocco’s spiritual and cultural center during your tour of Fes. Following breakfast, you head to your riad or hotel to meet your guide for a sightseeing tour of Fes el Jadid, also referred to as “New Fes” despite its 13th-century origins. The main attraction in the area is the Royal Palace, which is closed to tourists but worth seeing from the outside for the elaborately wrought gates.

Our nine-day Morocco desert tour departs Tangier on the fifth day and heads toward the middle Atlas Mountains. You will spend the majority of the day touring through stunning cedar forests, craggy rock formations, and Berber villages as you descend toward the Moroccan Sahara desert from the Atlas Mountains. Lunch will be served to you on the road. We are going to make a stop in Midelt, which is renowned for its rocks and fossils. We proceed with our 7-day Morocco itinerary along mountain roads with views of the expansive Ziz valley. We will traverse expansive Kasbahs and palm groves while passing through Errachidia, a city whose color is adobe.
We will arrive in Merzouga late in the afternoon. You will travel to the Sahara desert camp via a Merzouga camel trek over the Erg Chebbi Dunes. When you get there, you can go sandboarding and take in the sunset. Glamping in a Sahara desert camp for the night with Berbers, who will serve you dinner and entertain you with drumming around the campfire. Before turning in for the night, take pleasure in stargazing. Spend the night in a personal tent in the desert.
On our itinerary for our nine-day tour of Morocco, the day after. You’ll rise early to witness a magnificent dawn over Merzouga erg Chebbi. Following breakfast and a shower in the desert camp, we return you to Merzouga Village via 4WD or camel trekking, depending on your preference. After that, we’ll take a car to Rissani, where we’ll explore a fossil museum and take a stroll through the old-world market. After that, our nine-day private tour of Morocco passes through numerous Arabic and Berber villages, including Mellab, Tinjdad, Jourf, and the last one known for its ancient irrigation system’s wells. Many Hollywood films, such as “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” “Prince of Persia,” and many more, were filmed against this backdrop. The exotic architecture and cultures of Morocco are reflected in the kasbahs, or fortresses.
Following our exploration of the kasbah, we will travel a little further through the “Tichka pass” in the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech.
Today, you will visit the main attractions of the Marrakech medina during an afternoon guided tour. in order to tour the Medina accompanied by a certified local guide.
